Author: Ivone Uhač, Zoran Kovač, Vesna Fugošić
Abstract:

The implant prosthetic therapy is optimal treatment in case of single upper central incisor deficiency. There are multiple advantages which this treatment offers against classic prosthetic therapy. The goal is to avoid mechanical intervention on adjacent teeth which is not possible with classic bridge therapy. The success of implant prosthetic therapy greatly depends on close cooperation between dentists, oral surgeons and dental technicians unifying their individual fields of expertise, thus creating ideal therapy planning. Choosing the optimal implant positioning and implant type is the first step in thorough therapy planning which will enable optimal functional and esthetic solution in later treatment
